EURO2020: Coca Cola shares drop by $4million after CR7 moved the drink and replaced with water

Following footballer #CristianoRonaldo’s decision to remove the Coca Cola bottles from a table and replace it with water at the UEFA Euro 2020 conference,the popular soda brand has lost billions of revenue since.

Coca Cola lost $4 billion in value today after the CR7 gesture of removing the bottles went viral.

Coca Cola’s market value has dropped from $242billion to $238billion since that day.

Coca-Cola is one of the sponsors for the UEFA EURO 2020 tournament and an alleged statement from the company reviewed by the Guardian said that, “everyone is entitled to their drink preferences.”

Cristiano Ronaldo caused a fall of 1.6% in Coca Cola‘s value.
