President Donald Trump to provide financial relief to Americans struggling with Covid-19.

The president on Saturday said he would take Unilateral action to provide financial relief to Americans struggling with the Covid-19 crisis but it was unclear if he had the legal authority to do so.

Following the breakdown of the talks on capital hill to to reach a bipartisan deal,Trump signed an executive order that he would extend enhanced fedral benefits, cut some employees payroll taxes, continue a temporary ban on evictions and reduce the burden on students loans.

Trump may be hoping his orders changes the political dynamic around the stalled negotiations.
