Liverpool 100 Points Won’t Be Possible Due To Their Loss Against Arsenal

Liverpool’s loss to Arsenal means they means they can no longer reach the 100 points club.

The 100 points club includes:

Real Madrid (2011/12) – The team won a record 32nd La Liga title and finished the season with a number of records including 100 points in a single season, a record 121 goals scored and goal difference of +89, and a record 16 away wins and 32 overall wins

Barcelona (2012/13) – The 2012–13 season was Futbol Club Barcelona’s 113th in existence and the club’s 82nd consecutive season in the top flight of Spanish football. The season marked the managerial debut of Tito Vilanova, who served as Pep Guardiola’s longtime assistant. Vilanova assumed management of the club after Guardiola, who had managed Barcelona for the prior four seasons, declined to renew his contract.

Juventus (2013/14) – The 2013–14 season was Juventus Football Club’s 116th in existence and seventh consecutive season in the top flight of Italian football. The club won their third Serie A title in a row with a record 102 points and 33 wins,finishing 17 points ahead of second-place Roma.

Manchester City (2017/18) – The 2017–18 season was Manchester City’s 116th season of competitive football, 89th season in the top division of English football and 21st season in the Premier League since the league was first created. In addition to the Premier League, the club also competed in the FA Cup, EFL Cup and UEFA Champions League.

City won their third Premier League title on 15 April 2018 following West Bromwich Albion’s 1–0 win away to second place Manchester United, and the EFL Cup with a 3–0 win over Arsenal.

The team set a number of Premier League records during the season, including: most points (100), most away points (50), most points ahead of second (19), most wins (32), most away wins (16), most goals (106), best goal difference (+79) and most consecutive victories (18). The team also equalled the record for the earliest Premier League title win (5 games to spare), beating every other team in the league throughout the season, and recording the most consecutive away wins (11).
